Standard carving spatulas often lack the rigidity and edge retention required to carve crisp lines into hard jewelry waxes. The Alfa Mirage® Micro Knives are manufactured in Japan from premium high-carbon tool steel, hardened to a strict 60 RHC. This extreme hardness allows bench jewelers and model makers to carve, slice, and shave hard carving wax, plastics, and even wood with scalpel-like precision without the blade bending or dulling.
