Alfa Mirage® POLISHING COMPOUND KOYO ALOX-5

A premium, chromium-free finishing compound for platinum and hard alloys. Achieving a high-luster "color" on dense metals requires an abrasive that burnishes the surface without dragging. Manufactured in Tokyo, Japan, the KOYO ALOX-5 White Polishing Compound is engineered from carefully graded aluminum oxide abrasives. Designed as a final-stage polishing wax, it delivers a highly reflective, distinctive luster to Platinum, Titanium, and Stainless Steel. Crucially, it features a non-chromium formulation, making it a safer, modern alternative to traditional toxic metal rouges without sacrificing cutting or finishing power.

Bench Setup: Wheel Selection

Using stiff felts or treated wheels will introduce unnecessary friction and prevent the compound from achieving its maximum reflective finish.
