EVE® HSS und Hartmetall Diamond Polishers

The high-speed German rotary solution for maintaining razor-sharp engraving tools. A dull graver will drag, skip, and ruin expensive precious metals. Maintaining a pristine edge on modern Tungsten Carbide and High-Speed Steel (HSS) tools requires specialized, high-hardness abrasives. Manufactured in Germany by EVE®, the Diablade Diamond Polishing Wheels are formulated from a specialized rubber matrix heavily impregnated with industrial diamond grit. Mounted on reinforced 2.35mm mandrels, these 25mm discs allow stone setters and engravers to rapidly reshape, smooth, and high-shine their tools directly via their micromotor handpiece, ensuring the graver glides effortlessly through the metal.

The EVE® Diablade Grit System

Select the precise grit required for your tool maintenance stage:

• Green (Coarse): Maximum stock removal. Used for reshaping a broken graver point, grinding a new face angle, or smoothing out heavy chips in the carbide edge.

• Blue (Medium): The pre-polishing stage. Eliminates the heavy grind lines left by the coarse wheel and begins to refine the cutting edge.

• Yellow (Fine): The daily maintenance wheel. Used for regular high-shine polishing of the graver's "heel" and "face," resulting in a mirror-bright cut on the jewelry piece.

• Impregnated Diamond Matrix: The diamond abrasive is bonded directly into the rubber. This eliminates the need for messy diamond pastes and ensures a consistent, aggressive cut on extreme-hardness alloys like Tungsten Carbide and HSS.

• Reinforced Stability: At 25mm wide, a standard mandrel would be prone to high-speed vibration. EVE mounts these discs on a specially supported, heavy-duty 2.35mm screw mandrel to ensure absolute rotational stability and precision.
