The German-engineered silicone polishing rods for accessing microscopic crevices and tight settings. Polishing the internal walls of a prong basket, pierced filigree, or deeply recessed channels is impossible with standard rotary wheels. The EVE® EVEFLEX Silicone Polishing Pins provide the ultimate micro-polishing solution. Extruded into precise 3mm x 23mm rods, these unmounted silicone pins are impregnated with high-quality abrasives. When mounted in a specialized adjustable pin vise mandrel, they allow bench jewelers and setters to deliver targeted cutting, smoothing, and high-shine polishing to areas that were previously unreachable.
Advantages
-
Micro-Access Geometry: At only 3mm in diameter, these pins easily slip between closely set diamond prongs, inside hinge knuckles, and through saw-pierced gaps.
-
Self-Renewing Abrasive: As the silicone matrix wears away during use, fresh abrasive grains are constantly exposed, ensuring consistent cutting and polishing power without the need for messy rouge pastes.
-
Customizable Length: Designed to be used with an adjustable pin mandrel. You can expose 100% of the pin's length over its lifespan, ensuring zero consumable waste.
-
Vibration-Free Consistency: German manufacturing ensures strict dimensional tolerances, meaning the pins will not wobble or vibrate destructively when run at high speeds.
