Installation & Operating Instructions

1. Terminal Connections: Connect the tungsten needle holder cable into the red output terminal (Seat Stage / Negative). Plug the clamping tweezers into the black output terminal (Fixture / Positive).

2. Electrode Setup: Sharpen the tip of the Ø 1.0 mm tungsten needle on a diamond lap/grinder. Insert the needle into the holder with approximately 50 mm extension.

3. Power & Current Calibration: Turn on the main illuminated power rocker switch. Set the coarse and micro-tuning knobs according to metal thickness and alloy conductivity.

4. Positioning: Securely grip the workpiece with the tweezers. Align the joint interface precisely opposite the tungsten needle point at an optimal air gap of approximately 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm (never let the workpiece touch the needle directly).

5. Trigger Weld: Tap and immediately release the foot switch to trigger the micro-arc discharge.

Important Safety Precautions

• Momentary Pedal Tap Only: Tap the foot switch and release your foot immediately. Holding the pedal down continuously can short-circuit internal components and burn out the circuit board.

• Eye Protection: Always wear UV/tinted protective goggles or an eye shield to protect against arc flash rays.

• Electrical Isolation: Avoid touching the bare metal parts of the tweezers and the tungsten needle simultaneously while tapping the foot pedal.

• High-Voltage Internal Circuit: Do not open or dismantle the outer chassis casing; servicing should be performed by qualified technicians only.
