Alfa Mirage® DIAMOND GRINDSTONE TOISHI

The ultimate Japanese bench stone for sharpening extremely hard alloys and engraving tools. Maintaining a razor-sharp, mirror-polished edge on Tungsten Carbide and High-Speed Steel (HSS) gravers requires an abrasive harder than the tool itself. The Alfa Mirage® TOISHI is a premium Japanese grindstone utilizing a 1mm-thick layer of sintered diamond. Unlike cheap electroplated diamond stones that quickly wear bald, sintered diamond means the abrasive particles are bonded completely through the metal matrix, providing an incredibly long working life. Available in ultra-fine #3000 and #6000 grits, these compact bench stones are essential for shaping, sharpening, and mirror-polishing precision metalworking tools.
