Glardon Vallorbe® Adjiustable Graver Handle

Adjust working blade length on the fly, swap gravers in seconds without heat, and keep your tool from rolling off the bench. The Glardon Vallorbe® Adjustable Graver Handle brings modern mechanical versatility to traditional Swiss metalsmithing. Manufactured in Switzerland from fine-grained natural hardwood, it features a hollow steel ferrule chuck equipped with twin internal hex set screws and includes a matching L-shaped Allen key.

Instead of permanently burning in a single graver tang, you simply loosen the side screws to slide the tool forward or back. This lets you tune your cutting leverage and center of gravity to match your hand size and cutting style. It accepts standard tang and pre-cut shank profiles—including High-Speed Steel (HSS), carbon steel (WS), and carbide blanks—without damaging the tool or handle.

The handle comes in two lengths:

• #AL4101 (67 mm): Compact pear silhouette with a planed flat anti-roll base for close fingertip control.

• AL4102 (92 mm): Extended pear profile offering broader palm support and extra forward pushing leverage.
