The KNEWCONCEPTS® 8" Mk.IV Heavy Duty Fret Saw (#124.008CS) is manufactured in the USA from lightweight, powder-coated aircraft-grade aluminum. Engineered with an ultra-rigid truss frame, this 8-inch deep-throat saw pulls 50 to 60 pounds of tension—up to 6 times more than traditional steel jeweler's saw frames.

The Mk.IV version is built thicker and slightly heavier than earlier Mk3 models to dampen vibrations, yet it weighs just 275 grams to eliminate hand strain during production runs. Featuring an instant Cam-Release Tension Lever for rapid repetitive piercing and 360° Swivel Blade Clamps with 45° click-stops, it allows artisans to cut in any direction without frame interference.
