The LUXOR® Color-Coded System

To achieve predictable, mirror-like results without cross-contamination, select the precise micron grade required for your current polishing stage:

Preparation & Scratch Removal:

• PINK (6.5 µ): Heavy preparation. Excellent for initial scratch removal and surface leveling on all metals.

• GREEN (3.0 µ): Medium preparation. Optimized for fast cutting and leveling on precious metals like Gold and Silver.

• GREY (1.0 µ): Dry preparation. Specially formulated for heat-sensitive coatings, lacquers, and resins.

• BLUE (1.0 µ): Soft preparation. Gently removes light oxidation and fine scratches on Gold, Platinum, and Silver.

Polishing & Super-Finishing:

• YELLOW (0.5 µ): Super finishing. Specifically engineered for Copper alloys, Brass, and Gold to produce a brilliant, warm luster.

• WHITE (0.3 µ): Fine polishing. The industry standard for achieving a high-gloss finish across all metal types.

• ORANGE (0.1 µ): Extreme super-finishing. The finest abrasive in the Luxor line, delivering a flawless, distortion-free mirror gloss on all metals.
