Manufactured to Swiss-Made standards for NIQUA, the NIQUA® SUPER Q® HB 70° Double Cone Bur (Bearing Cutter / Doppelkegelfräser) is a specialized rotary tool engineered for professional goldsmiths, diamond setters, and precision engravers.

Featuring a low-profile double-cone head with an included 70° cutting angle, this cutter joins an upper tapered cone to a shallow underside taper. This design creates a sharp circumferential cutting edge that slices clean bearing shelves beneath stone prongs without undercutting or weakening the prong base. Machined from premium hardened tool steel, each bur delivers low vibration, clean chip clearance, and smooth rotary cutting in gummy, ductile precious metals including yellow gold, sterling silver, copper, brass, and related non-ferrous alloys. Mounted on an industry-standard 2.35 mm (3/32") shank, these burs drop directly into jeweler flexible shaft handpieces, quick-change chucks, and precision brushless micromotors.
