A chemically treated, specialized buffing wheel engineered specifically for platinum. Polishing dense, high-friction metals like platinum requires a delicate balance of abrasive carrier durability and fabric softness. The ORO® Berry Muslin Buff is manufactured from 50 plies of premium cotton and infused with a specialized purple chemical treatment. This unique "Berry" treatment drastically extends the working life of the wheel under high heat, yet allows the fabric to remain softer than standard yellow pre-polishing buffs. This makes it the industry standard for executing both the pre-polish and final mirror-finish stages on platinum jewelry and watch cases.
